Compared with small round balers, the power will be higher, but the equipment cost will also be higher. Farms with large cultivation areas generally use square balers or large round balers.

After the wheat is harvested, the straw can be collected by a rake, and then a square baler can be used to perform row-by-row baling operations. In terms of working efficiency, the daily working area can generally reach 500 acres. Applicable crop straws include corn, wheat, pasture, etc.

The overall performance of the straw square baler is relatively stable, with a high bale rate and easy traction, and can be well adapted to operations on irregular land parcels. Since the picking equipment is equipped with profiling equipment, it is also more suitable for working in low-lying fields to reduce boring losses. During the process from straw collection to formed square bale loading and unloading, the material moves longitudinally within the machine, which is beneficial to increasing the reciprocating frequency of the piston, thereby improving operating efficiency.
